Without doubt, the best wedding food ever. Dave’s food is absolutely incredible, we had Thai sharing platters which many of our guests said were the best food they have ever had at a wedding and we couldn’t agree more. Everything was such good quality, fresh and full of flavour and also such good value. Pizza in the evening was also amazing with a proper pizza oven brought to site. Dietries and kids all catered for perfectly as well. Dave and his team are fantastic chefs, and the waiting staff were fabulous. Would recommend Dave for any and every event possible. Twenty-five years cooking from the land that raised me
I'm Dave Corker. I started cooking at fourteen in a hotel in Kenford, just south of Exeter, and I never really left. Twenty-five years on, I run Field to Fork Catering with one rule: 95% locally sourced ingredients, every single event.
That's how I cook for weddings, parties and the occasional unforgettable guest. Plant-forward, vegan-driven, rooted in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Read the longer version.
Wedding catering across Devon — and a little beyond
We're Devon wedding caterers through and through. Most weekends you'll find us cooking in and around Exeter, the South Hams, the Exe Valley and along the Jurassic Coast — from barns and walled gardens to marquees on the family farm.
From there we travel happily across the county — Plymouth, Torquay and the English Riviera, Totnes, Dartmoor and North Devon — and over the border into Cornwall and Somerset for the weddings worth the drive.
Wherever your venue sits, the promise is the same: bespoke, plant-forward menus built on 25 years in Devon kitchens and 95% locally sourced produce. If you're within roughly an hour of Exeter we'll almost certainly be there — and we'll bring the whole kitchen with us.

- Where do you cater across Devon?
- We cater weddings and events across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, with most events in Exeter, the South Hams, the Exe Valley, the Jurassic Coast and Dartmoor. If your venue sits within roughly an hour of Exeter, we'll usually be there.
- Is there a minimum guest count?
- We typically take bookings from 30 guests upwards for sit-down weddings, with no upper limit. For canapés, grazing and BBQ formats we're flexible on smaller numbers. The fairest way to know is to send your date and rough headcount, and we'll quote what makes sense.
- Can you cater vegan, vegetarian and other dietary requirements?
- Yes. Plant-forward cooking is at the heart of what we do, and we run dedicated vegan and vegetarian wedding catering as a first-class menu line, not an afterthought. Gluten-free, dairy-free and allergen-aware menus are standard. Tell us what you need and we'll build the menu around it.
- How do we book and what's the deposit?
- Start by building your menu through our quote tool or by sending us your date, venue and guest count. Once we've agreed the menu, we hold the date with a deposit and confirm the balance closer to the event. Most couples book between six and twelve months ahead, especially for peak summer dates.

We had field to fork cater for our wedding last weekend. Dave and his team are absolutely incredible and all of the food was so beautifully presented and absolutely delicious . We went for the wood fired sharing boards for a family style dinner and wood fired pizzas for our late night food, this worked so well for us and the pizzas were a great hit. We were so impressed with the food the lamb was divine and the amount of compliments we recieved from guests was so lovely most of them claiming it to be the best wedding food they’d ever had! We simply agree! Dave himself was a pleasure to deal with and despite various last minute changes due to some pretty unfortunate weather remained so calm and collected the entire time. We cannot thank Dave and his team enough for the huge contribution they made towards making our wedding day as amazing as it was.
We had the absolute pleasure to meet and host Dave and his amazing team at Bow Grange for a wedding last weekend. I was blown away by their set up, the quality of food, the operation they executed seamlessly and perfectly. They are such a fun and laid back team to work alongside and made the day so much easier whilst also being so professional and passionate about their food and it was so clear to see. What a magical day we had on Saturday, we cannot thank you enough for the delicious canapes, starter, main and pudding and for helping create such a beautiful dining room! You looked after us so beautifully and everyone told us how delicious the food was which we whole heartedly agree with! We booked field to fork to cater for our wedding at Froginwell Vineyard in August, we booked a BBQ for the day time and pizzas in the evening. Dave's communication wasn't always the best however all important information was shared and he'd liased with the venue meaning the day before we turned up to decorate the place and Dave was already there getting the pizza oven ready. On the day we had Tim and team serving the food, it all went down really well and helped add to the relaxed vibe of our wedding. The pizza's were especially amazing!! For the price we were super happy with the service, thanks guys!
